Paolo Goldstein sees repair “as a subtle entry into creativity.” He describes growing up with his hands always on tools and materials so that “craftsmanship is not something I decided to do, it’s just something that happened.” In addition to demonstrating the creativity and craftsmanship he brings to projects, Goldstein reflects on how addressing broken objects relates to larger societal systems.
Goldstein’s work was exhibited at the International Art Fair for Contemporary Objects, Presented by The Crafts Council, on 10 - 13 May 2013 at Saatchi Gallery in London, UK.
